Community composting is coming to the town of Newcomb, thanks to a partnership between the town, the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), and the Newcomb Central School District (NCSD).

Staff Spotlight: Tyler Dorholt

SUMMARY: Tyler Dorholt is an Assistant Professor, Director of the Writing, Rhetoric, and Communications Program, and coordinator of the Digital Storytelling Studio at ESF. He recently earned tenure-track- faculty status after serving at ESF since 2018. Tyler has held jobs with comedian Louie Anderson, Guinness Brewery in Dublin, and over 40 total jobs. We sat down with Tyler to learn about some of his favorite things about ESF and life.

SUMMARY: Erin Tochelli recently earned a promotion to Associate Director of Academic Administration at ESF. During her seven years at ESF, has brought tremendous value to curriculum approval processes, SUNY academic requirements, and advising for Environmental Studies and Landscape Architecture. In her new role, she plans to bring a holistic, student-centered approach to academic procedures while working to further improve processes. We sat down to catch up with Erin about her time at ESF!
