Giving Societies

The ESF College Foundation is proud to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary generosity of those who help sustain and advance the College’s mission through consistent, cumulative, and planned giving.

Our premier membership societies honor dedicated donors whose investments make a lasting impact on ESF students, faculty, and programs. Whether through annual support, lifetime contributions, or estate planning, these society members play a vital role in shaping ESF’s future. Learn more about how you can join this distinguished community and be recognized for your commitment to ESF.

1911 Society

The 1911 Society, named after ESF’s founding year, honors those who show exceptional support through generous gifts to the ESF Annual Fund. These donors lead by example and inspire the entire ESF community.

The Annual Fund provides flexible support for the College, helping address urgent needs and seize new opportunities. 1911 Society members play a key role, contributing more than a third of the total raised each year. Since the Society began, members have given over $2.5 million in unrestricted support to help today’s students become tomorrow’s environmental leaders.

The Foundation has received over $8 million in realized bequests since the Society was launched in 2004.
