Dr. James Gibbs, SUNY Distinguished Professor at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), has been appointed Acting President of Galápagos Conservancy, the only U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated exclusively to the protection and restoration of the Galápagos Islands.
