Sustainability at ESF
Faculty & Staff Resources

Changing an entire operational system to prioritize sustainability takes continuous reflection, support, buy-in, and enthusiasm from all on campus. Luckily, many faculty and staff come to ESF specifically because of their love for our environment and the diverse populations, both human and non-human that call it home.

There are many ways that faculty and staff can get involved with sustainability at ESF. Join as we "Practice What We Teach"!

Sustainability Ambassadors

The Sustainability Ambassadors program invites a designee from each office, division or department to spend a few hours of (paid!) time each month serving as their group's sustainability educator and point person.

The goal of the Ambassadors program is to facilitate sustainable practices on campus through faculty and staff peer-to-peer education and action.

The link below will bring you to our Ambassadors project page, which provides a wealth of information about the program and introduces our current Ambassadors.

Connect with us!

Every month, the Office of Sustainability will host "office hours" in Gateway and Moon Library to provide students, faculty, and staff opportunities to connect with us, ask questions, share idea, and learn about the sustainable initiatives on campus.
