SUNY ESF
Plant Science Minor
Plant Science Minor
Coordinator: Dr. Danilo Fernando
The minor is intended to give students a broad perspective plant biology. Through required coursework on diversity, evolution, and structure and function of plants, students will have a foundational knowledge that is further developed through directed electives in 4 categories: Diversity, Ecology, Plant Structure/Function/Genetics, and/or Plant Cultivation/Management.
The minor is open to all ESF undergraduate students who maintain a GPA of at least 2.70 after completing at least one semester at ESF and who have completed one semester of introductory biology. A maximum of 9 of 18 credits may count toward both major and minor degree requirements.
